Ananda Devi
Ananda Devi’s journey into Kundalini Yoga was guided by a Universal intervention. Seeking a deeper spiritual philosophy to complement her physical practice, she embarked on teacher training without fully understanding the practice.
Born and raised in far North Queensland, Ananda Devi grew up immersed in a fundamental Christian faith, where life centered around quiet reflection, communion, and community. In hindsight, she is deeply grateful for this foundation in devotional living. However, her curiosity for broader horizons and a more dynamic life led her to pursue an Engineering degree in Sydney on a scholarship—an experience that expanded her world in every way.
Kundalini Yoga has since become a transformative practice of self-knowledge, energy alignment, and spiritual evolution for her. It continues to illuminate, clarify, and resource the essence of her being. Guided by sensitivity, deep listening, and love, Ananda Devi follows the divine breadcrumbs of Universal intervention, embracing life as an ever-unfolding journey.
Coming together in Service to All is something that sparks joy in Ananda Devi & it was a deep honour and pleasure for her to support the budding and blooming of the first three Kundalini Yoga Festivals in Australia.
Ananda Devi initially studied with Guru Dass and Sat Siri in Brunswick Heads, Australia in 2010, and continued her exploration of Kundalini Yoga with Guru Jivan, Sat Sabat, Sat Mukh and is presently studying with Tarn Taran Singh & Mahanraj.”

Brenda Rosenfeld
Brenda Rosenfeld (Deg Satya) Brenda is a highly qualified naturopath, clinical nutritionist, medical herbalist, mentor and lecturer with more than 20 years of clinical experience.
She was an Intensive Care registered nurse for 10 years and brings her combination of medical system training and complementary therapies training to her practice, bridging the divide between orthodox medicine and naturopathy.
She focuses on the body-mind-emotional connection and the way our body reflects everything that we think and feel. Brenda understands that our bodies want to be as well as possible and can be incredible in their ability to regulate and repair themselves.
From the time of her first Kundalini Yoga class, a great and enduring love was born. She cannot imagine her life without Kundalini Yoga. Her original idea behind doing the Level 1 Teacher Training was to just dive deeper into the teachings of Kundalini Yoga for her own learning. It didn’t take long for her to realise that she “had to teach it”, especially after experiencing the support it gave her as she recovered from an injury.
“Our world needs Kundalini Yoga (and Naturopathy). I believe Kundalini Yoga (and Naturopathy) can make an incredible difference to the health and wellbeing of our world and all populations. By shining our own individual light, by being kind, respectful and compassionate to ourselves, we can be that to others and we can lead by example. We’ll no longer need to be judgemental if we can learn to not judge ourselves, that we will no longer need to be unkind or disrespectful as we will learn that it starts with us first being kind and respectful to ourselves. Our bodies are the messenger and what we are experiencing is our body’s way of trying to get our attention. It is about learning to go within and learn about ourselves. It is about truly owning that we are human and that we are always doing the best we can based on what we know about ourselves, our perceptions and our conditioning in each moment. The science and technology of Kundalini Yoga gives us so many of the tools we need to develop the most important relationship we will ever have – the one with ourselves.”
After some time consolidating her learning from Level 1 Teacher Training, she is excited to embark on Level 2 in 2024.
Away from her Kundalini Yoga practice and Naturopathic clinic, she loves to dance, be at or in the ocean, walk the beautiful Coogee to Bondi track or other wonderful walking trail, enjoy an adventure and loves playing board games.
